Recently Federal Bureau of Investigation has published its annual report on cybercrime affecting victims in the U.S., noting a record number of complaints and financial losses in 2020 compared to the previous year.
In this report, they went on to explain what are the major areas where companies are prone to attacks. One such area is “Bussiness Email Accounts(BEC) or email account compromise (EAC) scams”.To be frank I was blown away. I am intrigued and want to write this article.

Follow the below steps when you are about to “Click” any “URLs or Links”
Step 1: Copy the link which you got in your Email or WhatsApp or Normal message or from any medium…
Step 2: Paste the link in this Website “Virustotal” & Click on the search icon…
Step 3: See the results of the URLs or Link from the below image. It says your pasted URLs or Link is “SAFE” or “Not Malicious”. Here I got score 0/93 means your pasted URLs or Link is scanned by 93 secuirty products and all the products resulted your URLs or Link is “SAFE” OR “ Not Malicious”. This means you can click on the link which you got in your Email or WhatsApp or Normal message or from any medium…
Note: I have taken “google.com” as an example.
About VirusTotal Tool :
It can be accessed from any device... It is a free online tool for analyzing Links or File Attachments or URLs or File Hashes or Domains …
